About this drawing: Phew! Finally got this done today. I started this in mid August and finished it today, Oct. 15. Nearly 2 months?? That's a lot, at least for something like this! I need to practice a lot more to make things come out faster and better. There are some artists who can make a photorealistic portrait within 5 hours, and I want to be like them. I dislike how the horse was sketched, really roughly, which means there aren't going to be any close-ups for this one. For the first time, I realised that I've put a lot of effort, time and patience on the background than I did on the TB. I couldn't beleive it! The waves were a challange for me, I had to try a hundred times before I got the desired result; and so was the mane and tail. I did the tail highlights a thousand time before I got the one you can see now. The sky is. . . . dumb. I did it roughly and couldn't get the time to fix it. :/ But anyhows, I am willing to get a lot of critiques on this peice as compared to the older ones. Yes, I do appreciate critiques a lot more than a "wow". This, however, doesn't mean "Ew, thats the worst peice I have ever seen! The horse doesn't look like a horse. The ear should be. . . . . ". Give citiques that will help me in some way. And if you don't know what is right, have a look at the reference picture mentioned at the bottom, and point out the differences. Simple! : )
